Stria News: Renewing Efforts to Reframe Aging Through Better Communications

Reframingaging

Stria News has published an article about the Reframing Aging initiative, which received multi-year grant funding to promote evidence-based recommendations for how the field can better communicate about aging issues.

The article notes that the Gerontological Society of America (GSA), one of eight national partnering organizations, will lead the next phase to build an infrastructure that will sustain the initiative’s momentum. GSA will also provide professionals in aging with training and technical assistance and support efforts of local organizations.

The Reframing Aging Initiative is supported by The John A. Hartford Foundation, Archstone Foundation, The Retirement Research Foundation, and The SCAN Foundation, with additional funding from the Endowment for Health and other local funders.
