The 2017 Rosalinde Gilbert Innovations in Alzheimer’s Disease Caregiving Legacy Awards
The 2017 Rosalinde Gilbert Innovations in Alzheimer’s Disease Caregiving Legacy Awardees will be honored during the 2018 Aging in America Conference on March 27.
The awards, supported by Family Caregiver Alliance’s National Center on Caregiving and The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation, recognize nonprofit organizations for outstanding programs that advance caregiving for Alzheimer’s disease in the three categories. This year's awardees are:
- Creative Expression: Percolator Memory Café Network, Jewish Family & Children's Service, MA
- Diverse / Multicultural Communities: ACTS 2 Project: African-American Alzheimer’s Caregiver Training and Support, Florida State University Dept of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine, FL
- Policy and Advocacy: ARTZ @ Jeff: An Arts and Dementia Mentoring Initiative, ARTZ, PA
