The SCAN Foundation Float: Hope’s Heroes - Honoring Caregivers of All Generations
The SCAN Foundation will celebrate caregivers on New Year's Day with a 2020 Rose Parade float, "Hope’s Heroes: Honoring Caregivers of All Generations."
“The Rose Parade is an opportunity to celebrate caregivers who are heroes to millions of older adults who wish to age well in the place they call home, while shining a light on aging as part of living that affects all families,” said Bruce Chernof, MD, president and CEO of The SCAN Foundation.
The float aims to inspire conversations about what people want for their own aging experience - you can share your caregiving story at HonoringAllCaregivers.org. The parade takes place in Pasadena, CA, on Jan. 1, 2020, at 8am PT/11 am ET on NBC, Univision, the Hallmark Channel, and other broadcast partners.
