The Alzheimer's and Dementia Care (ADC) Program, developed at the University of California Los Angeles, is offering the ADC Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) series beginning on May 1.

Project ECHO will host twelve interactive sessions every other Wednesday that include 10-to-12-minute didactic lessons followed by group consultation on de-identified patients.

Key learnings will include:

  • Best-practice guidance for dementia detection, diagnosis and management
  • Person-centered care planning strategies
  • Communication strategies for working with patients and caregivers
  • Expanded knowledge of and access to community-based resources

Participants will gain mentoring from experts, access to resources used during the series, a certificate of completion and continuing education units (CME/CNE/CEUs). More details are included on the ADC Spring flyer.

There is no cost to join Project ECHO. Those interested in more information can email Rachel Goldberger at rbgoldberger@alz.org.
