Video: What is the NICHE program?
A new video from the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing explains the Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) program.
"NICHE, an arm of NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, is an online educational program designed to improve the care of older adults in healthcare organizations by promoting evidence-based clinical interventions and establishing nurses as leaders to effect change," says NICHE executive director Mattia Gilmartin in the video posted on YouTube this month.
The short clip provides not only an overview of the program, but an explanation of how NICHE works for participating nurses, and how the healthcare systems they work for can benefit in the long term.
