The purpose of the webinar will be to assist Building Academic Geriatric Nursing Capacity (BAGNC) Alumni members in learning about funders' future directions, opportunities for funding, and how best to work with funders to disseminate and sustain a project/program of research. The objectives are to:
- Gain insights about foundations and funding strategies, i.e., cycles, specific interests, etc.
- Explore strategies for emphasizing sustainability for projects/research.
- Understand approaches to strengthening relationships with foundations and funders.
Planned facilitators include Dr. Debra Barksdale (PCORI), Dr. Christina Spellman (The Mayday Fund), and Erin Westphal (The SCAN Foundation).
