Webinar Recording: Policies to Support Caregivers - Opportunities for Philanthropy
Grantmakers In Aging (GIA), in partnership with Grantmakers In Health (GIH) and with support from Archstone Foundation, held a webinar on October 25, "Policies to Support Caregivers: Opportunities for Philanthropy."
During the webinar, participants learned about the current state of family caregiving policy and efforts to create new and innovative policies across the country. Some these new and exciting efforts include the work of the newly convened RAISE Act Advisory Council, the RAISE Act Resource and Dissemination Center, and the Home Alone Alliance.
Speakers also explored the opportunities for collaborative policy partnerships and the strategies available to grantmakers to better support caregivers. Presenters included:
