Grantmakers in Aging (GIA) is hosting a webainr "The Transformational Power of the Arts in Healthy Aging" on Monday, July 22, 2013, at 2:00 Eastern (11:00 Pacific). Anne Basting, Founder and Director of TimeSlips Creative Storytelling, and David Leventhal, Program Manager for the Mark Morris Dance Group's Dance for PD (Parkinson's Disease), will begin with an overview of the unique benefits of rigorous arts practice as it relates to aging and then focus on recommendations for sustainable replication of best practices in large and small communities across the country.
