The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) is holding a webinar on October 24, "Utilizing Quality Measures to Build an Effective Palliative Care System."

The webinar will highlight how the state of New York embedded palliative care into its Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program, and implemented a uniform assessment tool to track outcomes.

A speaker from NCQA will describe their work to develop quality measures related to serious illness care. The webinar will include an overview of the landscape of palliative care quality measurement and discuss how quality measures can be utilized, and will highlight state strategies to improve tracking and reporting on quality palliative care measures.
