Hosted by WebMD Chief Medical Officer John Whyte, MD, the interview addresses the impact of social isolation and loneliness on older adults during the COVID-19 pandemic. Drs. Whyte and Fulmer discuss the particular challenges facing nursing home residents and their families and creative solutions that are being used to foster social connections. In addition, they talk about the age-friendly health systems initiative '4Ms': what matters, medication, mentation and mobility.
