ADvancing States: Announcement of Selected States in Cross-State Caregiving Collaborative
ADvancing States has selected nine states to participate in its Cross-State Caregiving Collaborative. This initiative aims to help states address the critical need for integrating family caregivers and direct care workers.
The Cross-State Caregiving Collaborative unites states with national experts to share and develop promising practices and policies that integrate family caregivers and direct care workers. Improving the connection between these two critical groups has the potential to improve the lives of paid and unpaid caregivers, as well as the people they care for.
Selected states will participate in monthly meetings from May to November 2024 and will also gather at the 2024 National HCBS Conference in Baltimore in August. The selected states are:
- Arizona
- California
- Idaho
- Maryland
- North Carolina
- Oklahoma
- Pennsylvania
- Texas
- Utah
