ADvancing States Report: State Efforts to Integrate Family Caregivers and Direct Care Workers

Cross State Caregiving Collaborative

ADvancing States has released a report, "State Efforts to Integrate Family Caregivers and Direct Care Workers," on the states participating in the Cross-State Caregiving Collaborative.

ADvancing States' Cross-State Caregiving Collaborative (CSCC) unites states with national experts to share and develop promising practices and policies that integrate family caregivers and direct care workers. Nine states and three national partners joined the six-month learning collaborative led by ADvancing States to explore, develop, and draft plan policies that connect these two critical populations.

This work complements recent research on the intersection of direct care workers and family caregivers compiled by PHI and the National Alliance for Caregiving through the Together in Care initiative. ADvancing States' report provides more information about the states' latest efforts.
