American Hospital Association Webinar: Age-Friendly Hospital Measure - Preparing for Successful Attestation

AHA Webinar Age Friendly Hospital Measure 1

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is holding a webinar November 20 on "Age-Friendly Hospital Measure: Preparing for Successful Attestation."

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Age-Friendly Hospital Measure assesses hospitals’ commitment to improving care for patients 65 years or older receiving services in the hospital, emergency room or operating room.

During the webinar, AHA’s director of behavioral health policy, Caitlin Gillooley, and Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center’s geriatric hospitalist, Dr. Evelyn Ivy Mwangi, will be presenting on preparing for successful CMS attestation. Gillooley will discuss the CMS Age-Friendly Hospital Measure and Dr. Mwangi will share how becoming an Age-Friendly Health System has helped health care organizations successfully meet the measure.
