BOLD PHCOE-DC Webinar: Using Crowdsourcing to Support Dementia Caregivers - Opportunities for Public Health

PHCOE Crowdsourcing Webinar March18

The BOLD Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Caregiving (PHCOE-DC) is holding a webinar March 18 on "Using Crowdsourcing to Support Dementia Caregivers: Opportunities for Public Health."

Dementia caregivers often find it difficult to find support and resources that are available to them in the community. Crowdsourcing is an innovative approach to mapping community assets that can help identify new caregiver-focused resources and ultimately help connect caregivers to the supportive services and resources they need.

The webinar will explore design solutions to some of the challenges related to the quality, sharing and maintenance of data and together, the speakers will discuss how public health can use crowdsourcing to support its dementia caregiving efforts. Speakers include:

  • Dr. Nicole Ruggiano, PhD
  • Dr. Monica Anderson, PhD
  • Dr. Zhe Jiang, PhD
