The American Academy of Home Care Medicine (AAHCM), in partnership with the Hospital at Home Users Group, is holding a "Hospital at Home-Palooza" on October 12-14.

This Hospital at Home showcase and community gathering will highlight the field’s latest in acute care at home practice, policy, and research. The Hospital at Home-Palooza comes in two parts:

  • The HaH Users Group Annual Meeting 2023: Built to Last, October 12, will be a virtual pre-conference session of the AAHCM Annual Meeting. The program features keynote addresses from Dan Lasserson, MD, and John Halamka, MD, MS, debates on current issues, panels on HaH caregiving and equity, networking opportunities, and the 3rd annual HaH Awards. This virtual convening will explore how best to cultivate a strong and sustainable Hospital at Home movement.
  • The AAHCM Annual Meeting: Shaping the Future of Home-Based Medicine, October 12-14, will be an in-person conference in Seattle, WA. This year’s AAHCM Annual Meeting will prominently spotlight Hospital at Home, with several speaker sessions (including an introductory session presented by HaH Users Group Leadership), a dedicated section in both the exhibit hall and the poster hall, a networking event, and more.

HaH has also opened their Call for Caregiver Innovations. To contribute to HaH's caregiving session, the Users Group is asking the community to submit items by September 1:

    1. Brief proposals for innovative policies and practices related to caregivers, and/or
    2. Nominations for caregivers to participate as panelists
