IHI Scholars Fellowship Program 2025 Call for Applications: Diagnostic Excellence – Age-Friendly Health Systems Scholarships Available
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is calling for applications for the 2025-26 IHI Fellowship Program, including three Diagnostic Excellence – Age-Friendly Health Systems Scholarships focused on advancing diagnostic excellence for older adults. Applications are due August 22.
The IHI Fellowship Program is a 14-month virtual learning opportunity offered to select health care professionals worldwide. The Diagnostic Excellence – Age-Friendly Health Systems scholars, supported by JAHF, will be selected from among IHI Fellows based in the U.S. whose Strategic Initiative Project (SIP) is focused on improving diagnostic accuracy and safety among older adults using the Age-Friendly Health Systems 4Ms Framework (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Early to mid-career professionals addressing diagnostic accuracy and diagnostic safety among older adult patients
- Reside and work within the geographic boundaries of the United States and its territories
- Meet IHI Fellowship selection criteria
JAHF is committed to improving care for older adults by supporting the spread of age-friendly care that reliably uses evidence-based practices, reduces harm, and focuses on what matters to older adults and their family caregivers.
