National Alliance for Caregiving Webinar: Caregiver Training Services in Practice
The National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC) will host a June 24 webinar, "Caregiver Training Codes in Practice," exploring how organizations are using Medicare's Caregiver Training Services codes to support family caregivers.
Medicare’s Caregiver Training Services (CTS) reimburse certain providers for delivering structured training and education to family caregivers when those skills are necessary for the patient’s treatment plan. These codes represent a new avenue for caregiver support and are beginning to be implemented across health care systems. This webinar will examine early implementation efforts and lessons learned.
Speakers from advocacy organizations and healthcare providers will discuss efforts to raise awareness of CTS codes and integrate them into practice, including perspectives from Rush University Medical Center, AARP and NAC.
Participants will gain practical resources and strategies to strengthen caregiver engagement and embed caregiver support within existing care models.
