National Center to Reframe Aging Resources: Strengthen Advocacy Communications with New Scripts
The National Center to Reframe Aging has released new resources to strengthen your advocacy communications with new scripts on "How to Talk with Policy Makers" and "How to Comment at a Town Hall Meeting."
"How to Talk with Policy Makers" is a guide that offers practical tips for presenting your issues to policymakers, along with a sample script that demonstrates effective, reframed messaging.
"How to Comment at a Town Hall Meeting" is a resource to help prepare your remarks at town halls - which are valuable forums for addressing elected leaders and community members about upcoming legislation. It includes tips and a sample script that showcases reframed language for age-inclusive advocacy.
The National Center to Reframe Aging is holding a webinar on January 27 for the 100th Day of School: Curriculum Toolkit Webinar for Educators, to talk about age-inclusive, bias-free ways to celebrate this milestone.
