PHI Report: Updated Direct Care Workforce State Index and Report
PHI has launched an updated Direct Care Workforce State Index and an accompanying Report that analyzes state policies and direct care workforce outcomes across all 50 states and Washington, DC.
The Direct Care Workforce State Index is an interactive online tool that ranks states based on policies supporting direct care workers and their economic outcomes. This tool will assist advocates, policymakers, and stakeholders understand how states support direct care workers, how they compare to other states and what improvements can be made.
The accompanying report discusses the State Index in more depth and highlights supportive state actions. It also includes recommendations for state actions.
