National Center to Reframe Aging Webinar: Reframing Communications About Senior Centers - Lessons Learned from Pennsylvania
The National Center to Reframe Aging (NCRA) is hosting a July 8 webinar on lessons learned through its partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging to improve public understanding of Senior Community Centers.
As a key tactic in Aging Our Way, PA, the state's 10-year multisector plan on aging, the partnership explored new communication approaches for Pennsylvania's more than 400 Senior Community Centers. The goal was to increase public awareness of, engagement with and investment in these vibrant, in-person community hubs.
Speakers will share how the partnership came together, highlight its findings, and discuss how research-based communication strategies can transform how aging services organizations talk about their work and the people they serve.
